MIT and AWC Forge Strategic Alliance for Water Security in Bahrain

TDT I Manama

MI Technical Trading Company (MIT), a leader in Bahrain's water purification sector, announced a significant partnership with AWC, a global specialist in advanced membrane treatment chemistry and digital tools. As AWC’s official distributor in Bahrain, MIT will enhance the local availability of high-performance Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Nanofiltration (NF) chemical solutions for municipal and industrial water treatment across the Gulf region.

The collaboration focuses on solving persistent membrane system issues like scaling, biofouling, and low recovery. Crucially, the partnership supports sustainable operations and the Water Positive initiative by enabling accurate scaling prediction and reducing overall chemical use, minimizing the water and energy footprint in this water-scarce region. The details were briefed at a press meeting held at the  Wyndham Grand Manama , attended by MIT Managing Director, Muhammed P.K., and AWC Global Sales Director, Matt Armstrong.
