The Office of the Prime Minister of Bahrain has announced that H.E. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, will begin an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain today, Wednesday, November 26, as part of a multi-day trip aimed at deepening bilateral relations.

According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Bahrain from November 26–27 in a bid to enhance linkages with the Gulf nation.
In a statement issued Tuesday, the FO said the visit is expected to reinforce the traditionally warm and cordial ties, explore new avenues of partnership, and deepen people-to-people connections, contributing to “mutually beneficial cooperation.”

The FO added that the visit underscores Pakistan’s “continued engagement with the Kingdom of Bahrain, aimed at fostering a results-oriented and strategic partnership.” It also reaffirms the “longstanding and multifaceted relationship” shared by the two countries.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will hold high-level talks with Bahrain’s leadership to advance cooperation in trade, investment, energy, technology, education, and culture.
He will be accompanied by a senior delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, federal ministers, and senior government officials.

The Office of the Prime Minister of Bahrain extended a warm welcome to the visiting leader, wishing him a pleasant stay in the Kingdom.
