Fake Police Officers Rob Garage in Salmabad
The High Criminal Court of Appeal confirmed a five-year prison sentence for five men involved in a violent robbery at a Salmabad garage.
The gang allegedly plotted the crime at a defendant’s home, targeting an Asian man believed to possess money and narcotics.
Three men entered the garage at night, claiming to be police, and assaulted the victims before stealing phones, a tablet, cash, narcotics, and security equipment.
Investigators traced a red car seen near the scene, arrested the first suspect, and apprehended the remaining defendants after confessions.
The five men were charged with robbery by force, trespassing, and impersonating police officers. The court upheld the five-year sentence for premeditated nighttime robbery.
