Bahrain and China Praise Strong Military Ties
His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, received Colonel Wang Tao, the military attaché at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bahrain, this morning on the occasion of the conclusion of his tenure.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Financial and Technical Affairs at the Bahrain Defence Force.
During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief welcomed Colonel Wang Tao and thanked him for his valuable contributions during his tenure, wishing him continued success in his future assignments.
His Excellency also praised the distinguished historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China, highlighting the ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two friendly nations, particularly in the military field.
Several senior officers of the Bahrain Defence Force were also present at the meeting.
