The Kingdom of Bahrain has signed three landmark memoranda of understanding (MOUs), coinciding with the King Hamad Lecture for Neutral Justice, the launch of the Bahrain International Commercial Court (BICC) in partnership with Singapore, and the establishment of Global Justice Bay. These agreements highlight Bahrain’s growing role as a hub for international legal cooperation.
The MOUs include:

Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution & Bahrain Law Society: Formalising collaboration to enhance legal practice standards and dispute resolution expertise in the Kingdom.

Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution & Singapore Law Society: Establishing cross-border training, joint conferences, professional development, and cooperation on transnational commercial disputes.

Bahrain Law Society & Singapore Law Society: Strengthening professional exchange, focusing on legal innovation, advocacy, and adoption of international best practices.

The agreements reflect the shared vision of Bahrain and Singapore to promote judicial excellence, cultivate future legal talent, and provide a modern, trusted framework for dispute resolution across the MENA region and beyond.
Organised by the Council for International Dispute Resolution, the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR), and Global Justice Bay, the signings reinforce Bahrain’s ambitions as a center for international legal services and commercial justice.
