HH Shaikh Nasser Competes in Island Classic Charity Golf Tournament

Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the 26th Island Classic Charity Golf Tournament, organised by the American Mission Hospital, concluded at the Royal Golf Club. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, participated with the Victorious team on the third day and with the Safriya team on the second day of the tournament.

HH Shaikh Nasser affirmed that His Majesty’s patronage reflects the King’s enduring support for Bahraini sports, particularly golf, which continues to advance in quality and popularity. He praised the tournament’s excellent organisation and the participants’ strong performance, noting that such events reinforce charitable and humanitarian values that benefit society.The tournament featured wide participation from local and international teams, showcasing the Kingdom’s growing golfing talent and technical standards. The Victorious team, comprising HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, Mike Lorenzo, Mahdi Tadaoui, and Soufiane Tadaoui, won first place in the Championship Flight with 46.2 points, followed by the Ministry of Interior team (48.7) and Mohammed Jalal team (2) (51.3). In the Premier Flight, the Safriya team—including HH Shaikh Nasser, Mohammed Mousallam, Soufiane Tadaoui, and Mahdi Tadaoui - took first place with 47.1 points, ahead of Jakers (47.4) and VGA (49.3).
