Body of Missing Citizen Found Near Qatar Coast Guard Border
The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has confirmed that the body discovered near the Qatar Coast Guard border belongs to the citizen who had been reported missing. A dedicated security team from the MOI, accompanied by the victim’s relatives, travelled to the site for formal identification. Forensic examinations later verified the identity beyond doubt.
Authorities have now commenced procedures to repatriate the body, ensuring its safe return to the Kingdom.
In a statement, the MOI extended its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased, assuring that all legal measures are being taken. Those who were with the citizen aboard the boat during the incident have been referred to the Public Prosecution for investigation.
