Zain Bahrain, the leading telecommunications innovator in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has launched the fifth edition of the National E-Waste Competition, in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Environment and the Ministry of Education.

This initiative reflects Zain Bahrain’s ongoing commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility, while playing a key role in supporting Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

The competition aims to encourage school students to participate in collecting electronic waste and disposing of it safely and responsibly, while also fostering innovation in finding effective recycling solutions.

Ms. Amina Hamad Al-Rumaihi, Chief Executive Officer of the Supreme Council for Environment, emphasized the importance of the competition as a leading platform for raising environmental awareness among school students in Bahrain.

She highlighted that the council is keen to support initiatives that instill a culture of sustainability and responsible electronic waste management from an early age.
