In a heartwarming visit filled with nostalgia, Education Minister His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma returned to his former school, Arad Primary Boys School, last Tuesday.
The visit carried special significance — it was the same school where he spent his early years as a student.
As the minister entered one of the classrooms, a young student stepped forward and presented him with a bouquet of flowers and a handwritten card that read: “Thank you, Your Excellency. Here, your father taught my father, and you were his dear classmate. We are proud to follow in your footsteps. — Your student, Jassim Mohammed Al Sabaa.”
Emotional moment
The touching gesture came from a boy whose father had studied alongside the minister in the 1980s — both under the guidance of the minister’s late father, the respected teacher Mubarak Juma, who once taught at the same school.
The moment served as a poignant reminder of the lasting bonds and generational legacy within Bahrain’s education community.
