Bahrain Launches Call Center to Boost Job Opportunities for Citizens
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, has launched a dedicated call center to connect job seekers with private sector opportunities across the Kingdom.
The initiative comes under the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who has directed that each registered job seeker be offered three employment opportunities by the end of this year.
The newly launched center aims to encourage private sector engagement, inviting companies to offer as many job openings as possible. By doing so, the initiative seeks to integrate Bahraini talent into the workforce, providing career paths that align with the ambitions of citizens across various sectors.
Sameer Nass, Chairman of the BCCI, highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating, “This program reflects the vision of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, placing the Bahraini citizen at the heart of economic and social development. As a development partner, the Bahrain Chamber reaffirms its commitment to supporting this initiative by strengthening communication with the business community and encouraging active participation from companies and institutions. This effort will expand the range of employment opportunities, support family stability, and boost productivity in the labor market.”
Nass also emphasized the broader impact of the initiative, noting that it will help reduce unemployment, enhance the confidence of Bahraini youth, and provide the private sector with access to highly qualified national talent. Contributions from participating institutions are seen as long-term investments in Bahrain’s human capital.
The BCCI called on all companies and institutions operating in the Kingdom to register through the Ministry of Labor’s electronic platform and actively participate in this national initiative. Success, the Chamber said, will not only create jobs but also strengthen Bahraini families, drive economic growth, and support the country’s path toward sustainable development in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
