Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, praised the Civil Service Bureau’s (CSB) establishment of a youth creativity and innovation team, describing it as a forward-looking initiative that reflects confidence in the abilities of young Bahrainis to generate ideas that enhance institutional performance. This marks the second youth-focused committee launched across government bodies.
Tawfiqi said the move aligns with the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to empower young people and provide them with platforms to propose initiatives that drive innovation and development in the public sector.
She commended CSB President Shaikh Duaij bin Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa for initiatives that strengthen the role of youth in government institutions. “This initiative demonstrates a progressive approach to investing in national talent and highlights confidence in young people’s ability to lead and foster a modern, dynamic work culture,” she said.
Tawfiqi affirmed her ministry’s support for youth-focused national programmes, emphasising that the new team carries an important responsibility in showcasing the energy, dedication, and innovative spirit of Bahraini youth, while contributing to the Kingdom’s overall development.
