Bahrain Monitors Citizens Detained by Israeli Authorities
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain confirmed that it is closely monitoring the situation of Bahraini citizens who were recently detained by Israeli security forces, along with nationals from other Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Authorities are actively working to secure their swift release.
Bahrain’s embassy in Tel Aviv is coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to guarantee the safe return of its citizens to the Kingdom.
The detentions occurred as Israeli forces intercepted 39 boats carrying humanitarian aid and foreign activists, part of a wider initiative aimed at delivering assistance. The Ministry emphasized its commitment to the welfare of Bahraini citizens abroad and continues to engage with international counterparts to resolve the situation promptly.
