Bahrain Tops Microsoft’s Global Technology-Driven Schools Ranking
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Bahrain’s global achievement in education. The Kingdom’s Ministry of Education has been ranked first worldwide in Microsoft’s 2025 Technology-Driven Schools program, which included participation from schools across the globe.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted that this international recognition reflects Bahrain’s commitment to developing educational programs and enhancing institutional capabilities. He noted that the achievement demonstrates the country’s efforts to integrate modern technology into teaching, empowering both teachers and students, and fostering an innovative learning environment.
He also emphasized the importance of continuing to invest in Bahrain’s youth by employing the latest educational technologies, preparing a generation equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the demands of the modern era and contribute to national development. HRH Prince Salman praised the Ministry of Education and national educational staff for their efforts in achieving this milestone, which adds to Bahrain’s longstanding educational accomplishments.
Notably, 125 public schools and 5 private schools in Bahrain (a total of 130) earned the title of Technology-Driven Schools from Microsoft, out of 954 schools from 60 countries, making Bahrain the global leader in this initiative.
