200 Children Join Back-to-School Programme
The Royal Humanitarian Foundation organised its second annual back-to-school readiness programme for 200 primary school students ahead of the new academic year.
Held over three days at the Gulf Hotel, the programme featured educational, health and awareness activities designed to help students return to school with greater confidence and enthusiasm.
Rima Hassan Hilal, Head of the Educational Care and Research Section at the Foundation, said the initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to providing comprehensive educational, psychological and social support to its children.
She said the programme, held for the second consecutive year, combines learning and entertainment while helping students prepare positively for the new academic year.
Activities included vision, hearing and dental screenings, as well as awareness sessions on bullying prevention and building self-confidence.
Students also took part in workshops aimed at developing thinking skills and strengthening their sense of belonging to the school environment. A “Little Medic” workshop introduced them to basic first-aid skills in an age-appropriate format.
The programme also included the distribution of school bags containing essential stationery and supplies.
