The Basketball Academy Program for the students of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) was inaugurated with the participation of 35 students.
It was held in cooperation with Al Manama Sports Club and under the supervision of veteran coach Abdulmajid Shahram, at the club’s indoor sports hall.
The academy was officially launched by His Excellency Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of RHF, in the presence of Yousif Ahmed Zaman, Chairman of Al Manama Club.
This initiative comes as part of the Foundation’s policy to nurture students’ talents, develop their skills, and provide an encouraging sports environment that teaches basketball fundamentals and techniques.
The program also ensures the continuity of quality initiatives that promote both athletic and social values, while aligning with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strategy to advance youth sports development.
