Bahrain Health Ministry Strengthens Partnership with Sickle Cell Society
Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, emphasised the ministry’s commitment to advancing health programmes and strengthening the medical system through initiatives that sustain service quality and reinforce Bahrain’s position at the regional and international levels.
Dr. Jaleela was speaking as she received Zakariya Ibrahim Al Kadhem, Chairman of the Bahrain Sickle Cell Society, and members of its board of directors, in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Ali Al Nawakhda, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Health. The Minister underlined the society’s role as an active community partner in supporting efforts to sustain and enhance healthcare, ensuring efficiency and quality that meet national aspirations.
Al Kadhem expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Health’s continued support and its efforts to advance healthcare services in Bahrain. He commended the existing partnership with the health sector and emphasised the society’s keenness to strengthen cooperation to achieve common objectives.
