Shared History, Strong Future : HM King and HM Sultan Haitham reaffirm Bahrain-Oman commitment for growing bilateral ties and friendship

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended the deep-rooted historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman during a cordial meeting with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman at Bait Al Rabat in Salalah, as part of his private visit to the Sultanate.

HM King Hamad expressed appreciation to HM the Sultan for the kind invitation, warm welcome, and generous hospitality. HM Sultan Haitham welcomed HM the King and the accompanying delegation, expressing his great pleasure at the visit and wishing His Majesty a pleasant stay in Dhofar Governorate.

His Majesty King Hamad arrived in Salalah at the invitation of HM Sultan Haitham, who led the welcoming ceremony and wished the Bahraini delegation a successful visit.

Among those who also welcomed HM the King were His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said; His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad Al Said, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman; His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court of Oman; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; and H.E. Faisal bin Harib Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain.

A guard of honour welcomed His Majesty the King and His Majesty the Sultan before the two leaders proceeded to Bait Al Rabat in Salalah.
