Bahrain’s King Receives UAE Minister During Business Forum Visit

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, today welcomed UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, at Al-Safriya Palace during the minister’s visit to participate in the Bahrain-UAE Business Forum.

During the meeting, Dr. Al Zeyoudi conveyed greetings and best wishes from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. Both leaders extended their heartfelt wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Bahrain.

King Hamad warmly welcomed the UAE minister and asked him to convey his personal greetings and sincere wishes to the UAE President, Vice President, and the Emirati people, expressing hope for even greater progress and success for the nation.

The King praised the longstanding, brotherly ties between Bahrain and the UAE, describing them as strong and deeply rooted. He highlighted the ongoing efforts by both nations to strengthen and broaden these relations. His Majesty also emphasized the significance of the Bahrain-UAE Business Forum, lauding its positive outcomes in further enhancing bilateral partnerships—especially in the fields of trade, economy, and investment.

King Hamad noted the importance of continued cooperation to boost trade exchange and support mutual interests that serve the development goals of both countries and their peoples.

For his part, Dr. Al Zeyoudi expressed his gratitude to King Hamad for the warm reception and praised the King’s role in deepening the partnership between Bahrain and the UAE. He emphasized the importance of working together to advance cooperation in key sectors, particularly in trade, economics, and investment.
