Bahrain-Saudi Relations Exemplify Strategic Partnership, Says Shura Council Chairman

The Chairman of the Shura Council, His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, emphasized that the relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is exemplary, deeply rooted in history, and strategically significant. He expressed pride in the strong and unwavering support that these ties receive from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King of Saudi Arabia.

H.E. Al-Saleh praised the growing collaboration and developmental partnerships between the two brotherly nations, attributing this progress to the continuous support and diligent follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

His remarks came during a meeting on Wednesday morning with the newly appointed Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, His Excellency Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi. The meeting was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, Second Deputy Chairman, Dr. Jihad Abdullah Al-Fadhel, and Secretary-General of the Council, Kareema Mohammed Al-Abbasi. Chairman Al-Saleh congratulated Ambassador Al-Sudairi on his new diplomatic assignment, wishing him success in his role.

During the meeting, H.E. Al-Saleh highlighted the strong bonds of brotherhood, mutual respect, and shared destiny that define Bahrain-Saudi relations. He also acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support for Bahrain’s development and prosperity.

Furthermore, he commended Saudi Arabia’s rapid advancements and ongoing economic and infrastructural growth, reinforcing its leadership in various fields. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s progress positively impacts Bahrain and contributes to regional stability and prosperity.

H.E. Al-Saleh reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening parliamentary ties with the Saudi Shura Council and enhancing cooperation on regional and international parliamentary platforms.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Sudairi expressed his deep appreciation for the exceptional and unparalleled relationship between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. He emphasized the shared values of love, loyalty, and commitment that bind the two nations.

The Saudi Ambassador reiterated his dedication to furthering the bilateral relationship, expanding avenues for collaboration, and enhancing coordination in alignment with the aspirations of the leaderships of both countries.
