His Majesty King Hamad Receives Secretary-General of ICSID and World Bank Vice President

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, received Martina Polaschek, Secretary-General of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and Vice President of the World Bank, at Al-Sakhir Palace today. The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Majesty welcomed Ms. Polaschek and discussed the ongoing cooperation between Bahrain’s institutions and both the ICSID and the World Bank. They also reviewed global economic developments and the World Bank’s role in supporting development initiatives worldwide.
The discussions reflected Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening international economic partnerships and fostering a stable investment environment.
