Bahrain's strength is deeply rooted in community partnerships, which are essential for fostering national loyalty and preserving its cultural heritage, according to MP Mamdouh Al Saleh.

Al Saleh made these remarks during a key session of the Arab Parliament in Cairo on Thursday, where he discussed how the Kingdom balances civic responsibility with the protection of its historical treasures.

Speaking at the Social and Cultural Committee meeting, Al Saleh attributed Bahrain’s progress to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

"The National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation has played a crucial role in creating a stronger, more unified society based on shared values, fairness, and the rule of law," Al Saleh said.

Addressing the upcoming global seminar on protecting societal values, Al Saleh presented Bahrain's approach, acknowledging the leadership of Minister of Interior Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in spearheading the initiative.

Al Saleh also highlighted the work of the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage, which has been based in Bahrain since 2012. He described the centre as "one of a kind in the Middle East and North Africa," providing valuable support to Arab nations in preserving their cultural and natural heritage in accordance with UNESCO’s guidelines.

Additionally, Al Saleh underscored Bahrain's prominent role in heritage preservation, citing the successful inclusion of the Pearling Path in Muharraq on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The project, which restored historic buildings linked to Bahrain’s pearling legacy, ensures that future generations will be able to connect with this crucial aspect of the nation's history.
