SMC celebrates World Nurses Day

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Salmaniya Medical Complex celebrated yesterday the International Nurses Day. The whole department took part in the celebrations, recognizing the role of nurses in the health department.
Special gift packs were distributed among the nurses and lunch was also provided. Head Nurse Sister Sheikha thanked the doctors for celebrating the day with them.
International Nurses Day is celebrated on May 12 every year, to mark the contributions of nurses to the society. May 12 is the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is by and large considered the founder of modern nursing.
