A spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health told state television today, Saturday, that the deaths due to the emerging coronavirus in Iran have increased by 166 to 24,118.
 
The TV quoted the spokeswoman, Sima Sadat Larry, as saying that the total number of injuries increased by 2845 during the past twenty-four hours, to reach 419,043. Iran is one of the countries in the Middle East most affected by the pandemic.
