Kuwait announces two new infections in Corona, for a total of 64 cases
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, Sunday, that two new infections, one of a female and one of an Egyptian national, were infected with the Corona virus (Covid 19), and they were transferred to the designated hospital to receive the necessary health care.
The official spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said in a statement that the citizenship was coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran, while the expatriate had gone to the Republic of Azerbaijan on a private visit through the United Arab Emirates and returned from it on the same itinerary and his travel to the Arab Republic of Egypt was not proven during The last six months.
He added that the expatriate visited one of the emergency departments of the Ministry of Health, and after confirming the date of travel, the isolation procedures were activated, as he came from one of the countries that had recorded cases of Corona virus and was being transferred to the designated hospital.
This brings the total number of registered cases confirmed to be infected in the State of Kuwait to date, to 64.
