Saudi Launches Multiple-Entry Umrah Visa

365-day permit allows multiple visits with up to 90 days’ total stay

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a multiple-entry Umrah visa, allowing holders to enter the kingdom several times during its 365-day validity period from the date of issue, with a cumulative stay of up to 90 days over the life of the visa.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that the new visa is part of efforts to develop services for pilgrims and achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Programme, by making it easier for pilgrims to travel to the kingdom, enriching their experience and raising the efficiency of services provided.

The ministry said the length of stay is calculated cumulatively based on the number of days a pilgrim spends in the kingdom across multiple visits. A service package must be purchased from an approved service provider through the Nusuk platform for each visit, with an Umrah permit issued through the app before arrival.

It confirmed that entry under the visa remains subject to travel and entry requirements and approved regulatory controls, noting that the visa cannot be used for entry during the Hajj season, from the first of Dhul Qadah to the 13th of Dhul Hijjah.

The ministry added that the new visa enhances flexibility in planning visits and supports the integration of digital and operational services linked to the pilgrim’s journey, as part of efforts to provide an easier, higher-quality experience from the planning stage through to departure from the kingdom.
