Kremlin Dismisses Paris Ukraine Summit as 'Coalition of Warmongers'

Moscow: The Kremlin criticised a summit of Ukraine's supporters in Paris on Monday, calling it a ‘coalition of warmongers’ and accused European leaders of pursuing confrontation with Russia rather than negotiating a peaceful resolution.
According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, the countries attending the meeting are committed to boosting military backing for Ukraine and putting more pressure on Moscow, saying that such measures will only prolong the conflict. He said Russia saw the summit as proof that European politicians were still intent on intensifying the confrontation rather than fostering negotiations.
Leaders from numerous European and partner countries met in Paris to consider greater military assistance, security guarantees for Kyiv, and long-term support for Ukraine as Russia's massive military attack progresses.
The Kremlin's comments highlight the growing gap between Moscow and its European opponents about how the war should be settled and coincide with increasing Western attempts to reinforce Ukraine's defences and plan future military assistance.
