Women Are Key Partners in Bahrain’s Development
Al Hashemi said the Council established a national model that strengthened women’s position as active partners in Bahrain’s comprehensive development over the past 25 years.
She said the anniversary should encourage continued cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women and support initiatives that enable Bahraini women to use their skills and take leadership positions in financial technology and the digital economy.
Al Hashemi said the achievements of Bahraini women reflected the integration of national vision, government policies and the Council’s institutional work, which created wider opportunities for women to participate in decision-making and hold leadership positions.
She highlighted the growing contribution of Bahraini women to economic and technology sectors, saying they had become important partners in driving innovation and development.
Al Hashemi also said BENEFIT reflected this national approach through its governance and institutional practices, with Bahraini women playing important roles in leadership, decision-making and the development of digital financial services.
She praised the contributions of Bahraini women to the company’s projects and national platforms, noting their ability to adapt to rapid developments in financial technology and develop innovative solutions serving the financial and banking sectors and wider community.
She also extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa on the silver jubilee of the Supreme Council for Women.
