Islamabad: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is set to visit Pakistan on Tuesday for an official visit aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and discussing critical regional issues.
Pezeshkian is set to meet with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other senior officials to discuss regional security, economic cooperation, border difficulties, and measures to strengthen political and trade ties between the two neighbours.
The visit comes just days after Pakistan brokered negotiations between Iran and the United States in Switzerland, with both sides praising the sessions as constructive and expressing optimism for further diplomatic progress.
The leaders are also likely to discuss regional stability and future cooperation, following a recent phone chat in which they promised to swap visits as soon as possible to strengthen bilateral ties.
