Saudi Arabia Launches CEER’s First Electric Vehicles, EXOBOT Sedan and SUV
Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Chairman of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), launched EXOBOT, the first electric vehicles from Saudi Arabia’s national automotive company CEER.
The EXOBOT sedan and SUV are the first two models in a planned portfolio of seven vehicles that CEER aims to launch over the next five years.
The vehicles were designed and engineered in Saudi Arabia, drawing inspiration from the Kingdom’s landscape and culture. They will be produced at the CEER Manufacturing Complex, which is described as the largest automotive production facility in the Middle East.
CEER was launched by PIF in 2022 as Saudi Arabia’s first automotive brand, with the goal of attracting investment, creating jobs and strengthening the country’s industrial and private sectors.
By 2034, CEER is projected to contribute more than SR30 billion ($8 billion) to Saudi Arabia’s GDP and more than SR80 billion ($21 billion) to improving the Kingdom’s trade balance.
