Muscat, Ankara coordinate on maritime safety

Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call on Sunday during which they discussed regional and international developments, the Omani foreign ministry said.
The two ministers exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual concern, underscoring efforts to strengthen consultation and coordination between the two countries.
They also reviewed developments related to maritime navigation in key strategic waterways and discussed ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing regional security and stability.
Both sides stressed the importance of ensuring the uninterrupted flow of international trade, describing it as essential for supporting broader global economic stability.
