The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reaffirmed that the United Arab Emirates hosts an Iranian community that is respected and valued, describing it as an integral part of the country’s diverse social fabric.

The Ministry noted that the UAE is home to more than 200 nationalities, reflecting its long-standing approach of promoting coexistence, tolerance, and openness, as well as its commitment to all residents living in the country.

In response to what it described as inaccurate media claims regarding the residency status of members of the Iranian community, the Ministry assured all residents that the UAE’s institutional framework is based on established laws and procedures designed to safeguard the safety and well-being of everyone without exception.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the UAE remains committed to strengthening a secure and stable environment grounded in the rule of law, ensuring the protection of the rights of all residents, and reinforcing the nation’s core values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
