Abu Dhabi: The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday dismissed media reports about the residency status of Iranian nationals as “inaccurate.”

The ministry emphasized that the UAE is home to a respected Iranian community, which plays an important role in the country’s social fabric and contributes to its diversity.

Highlighting that the nation hosts more than 200 nationalities, it said this diversity reflects the UAE’s strong commitment to coexistence, tolerance, and inclusivity.

It also reassured residents that the country’s institutional approach is based on established procedures that ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, without exception.

Reaffirming its stance, the ministry said the UAE remains dedicated to maintaining a safe and stable environment, upholding the rule of law, and protecting the rights of all residents.
