Trump Signals Intensified Strikes in Coming Weeks

U.S. “On Track” to Complete Military Goals, Says Trump

The United States is nearing the completion of its military objectives against Iran, President Donald Trump said in a national televised address, outlining the progress of ongoing operations while signaling intensified action in the coming weeks.

“I can say tonight that we are on track to complete all of America’s military objectives shortly,” the President stated, adding that U.S. forces would “hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks.” He noted that diplomatic discussions remain ongoing alongside military efforts.

In a sweeping assessment of the situation, the President claimed significant damage to Iran’s military infrastructure. “Tonight, Iran’s navy is gone, their air force is in ruins, their leaders, most of them, are now dead,” he said. He further asserted that command and control systems of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were being “decimated,” while the country’s ability to launch missiles and drones had been “dramatically curtailed.”

According to the President, U.S. strikes have targeted key military assets, including weapons factories and rocket launchers. “Our enemies are losing—and America… is winning, and now, winning bigger than ever before,” he said.

Reiterating a long-standing policy stance, the President emphasized that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons has been a central objective since the start of his political campaign. “From the very first day I announced my campaign, I vowed that I would never allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon,” he said, criticizing the Iranian leadership’s rhetoric and warning that the issue should have been addressed earlier.

The President also highlighted past actions taken by his administration, including the killing of Qasem Soleimani and the withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal negotiated under former President Barack Obama. “Essentially, I did what no other president was willing to do—they made mistakes, and I am correcting them,” he said.

While underscoring a preference for diplomacy, the President argued that Iran had rejected repeated attempts at a negotiated solution. “My first preference was always the path of diplomacy. Yet, the regime continued their relentless quest for nuclear weapons and rejected every attempt at an agreement,” he stated, adding that previous international warnings lacked impact without decisive action.

He further noted that key strategic objectives are now “nearing completion,” while paying tribute to U.S. service members who lost their lives during the conflict. “We think especially of the 13 American warriors who have laid down their lives in this fight. Now, we must honor them by completing the mission for which they gave their lives,” he said.

Turning to domestic achievements, the President claimed that the U.S. economy had strengthened significantly during his tenure, describing the country as “the hottest anywhere in the world,” with low inflation, record investment, and a strong stock market. He argued that these developments had positioned the United States to confront what he described as the long-standing threat of a nuclear-armed Iran.

Addressing global energy concerns, the President urged countries facing fuel shortages to consider alternative approaches. He suggested purchasing oil from the United States and called for greater assertiveness in securing energy routes, particularly through strategic waterways such as the Strait of Hormuz. “Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done,” he said.
