Arad: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on world leaders to join what he described as a joint U.S.–Israel effort against Iran, warning of escalating regional and global threats.

Speaking from the southern city of Arad, the site of a recent attack, Netanyahu said Iran has significantly advanced its military capabilities, including long-range missile systems that could potentially threaten regions beyond the Middle East.

He alleged that Iran had launched a missile toward Diego Garcia and warned that European countries could also fall within its range. He also accused Tehran of attempting to disrupt global shipping routes and energy supplies to pressure the international community.

“The regime must be stopped,” Netanyahu said, adding that Israel and the United States are acting “for the security of the entire world.” He urged other nations to take a stronger stance, saying broader international cooperation is needed.

Referencing U.S. President Donald Trump, Netanyahu said there have been growing calls for coordinated global action to counter what he described as escalating threats.

He added that Israel’s military operations would intensify, targeting Iranian leadership, military infrastructure and economic assets.

Netanyahu said the objectives include dismantling Iran’s nuclear programme and eliminating its missile production and deployment capabilities, signaling a further escalation in the conflict.
