Washington D.C.: US Central Command (CENTCOM) said it had damaged an Iranian military facility used for assembling ballistic missiles, releasing satellite images showing the site before and after the strike.
In a post on X, CENTCOM identified the location as the Kuh-e Barjamali Ballistic Missile Assembly Facility, situated in the Barjamali Hills southeast of Tehran.
According to the statement, the facility was used to build close-, short- and medium-range ballistic missiles. The images, dated March 1 and March 7, 2026, show significant structural damage, with the command describing the site as “out of commission.”
The disclosure comes amid heightened tensions between the United States and Iran, with both sides exchanging warnings and military actions in recent weeks.
