Saudi Civil Defense Reports Projectile Hit on Residential Site
The Civil Defense reported that a military projectile struck a residential site belonging to a maintenance and cleaning company in Al-Kharj Governorate, part of the Riyadh region. The incident resulted in two fatalities—one Indian and one Bangladeshi national—and left 12 Bangladeshi residents injured, in addition to causing significant material damage.
The Civil Defense spokesperson emphasized that targeting civilian sites is a clear violation of international humanitarian law. Authorities have implemented the standard procedures for such incidents.
Al-Kharj has recently experienced multiple attempted attacks using drones and ballistic missiles, primarily targeting Prince Sultan Air Base. Saudi air defenses successfully intercepted these threats.
