New Mew USB-C flash drive and Mewtwo portable SSD combine Pokémon-inspired designs with portable storage performance

SanDisk has introduced two new officially licensed Pokémon storage products as the franchise celebrates 30 years of fandom.

The new lineup includes the SANDISK® Pokémon USB-C™ Flash Drive, Mew Edition and the SANDISK® Pokémon Portable SSD, Mewtwo Edition, developed in collaboration with The Pokémon Company International.

Designed for Pokémon fans, creators, collectors and Trainers, the new storage devices combine Pokémon-inspired designs with SanDisk's portability, compatibility and performance. The products are aimed at users looking to store, transfer and manage digital content across multiple devices.

The drives feature tactile 2D surfaces depicting Mew and Mewtwo. They can be used for backing up photos, organizing game captures, transferring creative projects and expanding storage on compatible devices.

The SANDISK® Pokémon Portable SSD, Mewtwo Edition draws inspiration from Mewtwo and is designed for users handling larger files such as photos, videos and creative projects. SanDisk said the SSD is up to five times faster than traditional portable hard drives, with read speeds of up to 1,000MB/s. It also offers up to two-metre drop protection and is available in 500GB and 1TB capacities.

Meanwhile, the SANDISK® Pokémon USB-C™ Flash Drive, Mew Edition takes inspiration from Mew and offers up to 128GB of storage in a compact, pocket-sized design. The drive is compatible with supported phones, tablets and computers, allowing users to store, transfer and access photos, videos and everyday files across devices.
