Brad Pitt has joined a documentary that took 14 years to film, but the F1 star will not appear on screen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pitt has partnered with filmmaker Wim Wenders on From Inside Out — The Architecture of Peter Zumthor, serving as an executive producer. The film will open with the credit “Brad Pitt presents.”

Shot over 14 years in 3D, the documentary explores the work of Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, from his early family homes in the Alps to the new Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Pitt, who supported Zumthor’s LACMA project and spoke at a key 2019 hearing, has no financial interest in the film. His production company, Plan B, was also not involved.

The documentary will premiere out of competition at the Venice Film Festival next month.
