Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final

Professional Triathletes Organisation and Visit Qatar have confirmed that Lusail City will host the 2026 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final from December 10 to 12.

The championship finale will mark the conclusion of the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour, which features elite professional triathletes competing in international destinations including the Gold Coast, Singapore, San Francisco, and London before heading to Qatar for the final showdown of the season.

Athletes competing in Lusail City will take on the PTO’s signature T100 format, which includes a 2km swim in the Arabian Gulf, an 80km cycling course through the city, and an 18km run across Lusail Plaza and Boulevard.

Sam Renouf, CEO of the Professional Triathletes Organisation, said the waterfront setting of Lusail City provided an ideal backdrop for last year’s championship final and expressed excitement about returning to Qatar later this year.

Alongside the professional races, the event is expected to attract more than 5,000 amateur athletes from Qatar and abroad, making it one of the region’s major endurance sports events. Organisers are also continuing collaboration with the Qatar Triathlon Federation to encourage youth participation in triathlon and promote healthy lifestyles.

The 2026 programme will also feature the second edition of the T100 Age Grouper World Championships, offering amateur athletes the opportunity to compete for world titles in their respective age categories.

In addition to the championship races, the three-day festival will include community events such as open triathlon races, sprint-distance competitions, a 1km and 5km run, as well as entertainment and food experiences for spectators and visitors.
