Yas Marina Circuit Unveils Yas Speed Festival 2026

Yas Marina Circuit has announced the launch of Yas Speed Festival 2026, a new community-driven motorsport festival celebrating speed, culture, and connection. The event will be held across two editions in February, with the inaugural festival taking place on February 7–8, followed by a second edition on February 21.

Designed as a multi-edition festival, Yas Speed Festival will combine elite racing championships with immersive off-track experiences, further strengthening Yas Marina Circuit’s position as a central hub for motorsport culture and community engagement in the UAE.

The first edition promises an action-packed weekend, headlined by the Asian Le Mans Series, one of the world’s leading endurance racing championships. Featuring international teams and advanced prototype and GT cars, the series will bring high-level endurance racing to Abu Dhabi.

Adding further star power to the grid, Ajith Kumar will compete as both driver and team founder under Ajith Kumar Racing. A respected name in international motorsport, his participation highlights the festival’s ability to attract top-tier talent and enhance its appeal among motorsport fans across the region.

Commenting on his participation, Ajith Kumar said he is looking forward to returning to the iconic Yas Marina Circuit, this time racing an LMP3 car with his own team in the Asian Le Mans Series.

The on-track programme will also include the Gulf ProCar Championship and the Gulf Radical Cup, offering fans a diverse and dynamic motorsport lineup throughout the weekend.

Beyond the racing action, the festival will feature Yas Motor Majlis, a large-scale automotive gathering showcasing more than 400 cars. The event will celebrate regional car culture and bring together enthusiasts, collectors, and families in a lively social atmosphere.

Aligned with the UAE’s Year of the Family, Yas Speed Festival is designed as an inclusive, family-friendly event that extends beyond motorsport enthusiasts to the wider community.

Visitors can enjoy a range of attractions, including family-friendly ticket packages, a dedicated children’s play area, a festival fan zone with interactive activities, a curated selection of food trucks, and general admission access to the Main Grandstand. VIP hospitality options will also be available, offering suite viewing areas with premium trackside views.
