Design Your Future Announces Winners of Hyundai EV Youth Challenge

Design Your Future (DYF) has announced the winners of the Hyundai EV Youth Challenge, a competition celebrating creativity, innovation, and marketing skills focused on Hyundai’s electric vehicles (EVs).

The challenge, part of the DYF campaign, aimed to raise awareness about the environmental benefits of EVs and give participants hands-on experience in marketing, communication, and teamwork. A total of 52 participants, aged 16 to 24, from schools and universities across Bahrain took part, working in 10 teams.

Teams were given two days to test drive Hyundai EVs and attend sessions led by EV and marketing experts before presenting their marketing campaigns to a panel of judges.

Winners were:

  • Best Overall Marketing: Al Al Mustafa Alani, Rashed Aldoseri, Hamad Alshear, Nawaf Alsabagh, Mohammed Ali

  • Creativity and Innovation: Muneer Abd Alraqeeb, Ali Abdullah, Yahya Alrashid, Shouq Albinali, Baqer Alsaegh

  • Highest Public Vote: Ahmed Al Merbati, Saud Juma, Feras Al Modawebm, Hasan Jasim, Ali Aryan

Mr. Nawaf Alzayani, Managing Director of First Motors – Hyundai Bahrain, said, “We are proud to support this initiative. Youth are the driving force behind future innovation, and challenges like this help them develop skills, embrace sustainable solutions, and contribute to society.”

Ms. Zahraa Taher, Chairperson of the DYF Advisory Committee, added, “The creativity shown by participants was inspiring. The challenge is part of DYF’s wider activities, which include workshops, podcasts, quizzes, and skill-building programs designed to prepare young people for professional success.”

The competition was judged by industry and academic experts, including CEOs, environmental and marketing professionals, and educators. DYF is supported by Mastercard as Knowledge Partner and Hyundai Bahrain as Innovation Partner, alongside organizations like the Higher Education Council, INJAZ Bahrain, Tamkeen, and Lamea Association.

The initiative highlights DYF’s commitment to equipping youth with the skills and experience needed for a sustainable and innovative future.
