Brad “Superman” Katona will be writing a new chapter in his promising mixed martial arts career on Thursday, April 1st as he is scheduled to make his much-awaited debut under the BRAVE Combat Federation banner.

The 29-year-old Canadian spitfire is slated to take on fellow debutant Borislav Nikolic of Serbia in a three-round bantamweight showdown at BRAVE CF 50, which emanates live from the historic Arad Fort in Bahrain.

For almost a year, Katona was at a crossroads after being released from the North American promotion where he spent nearly two years competing in its ranks.

He had a ray of hope in making a comeback this past October when he was booked at a local event in Dusseldorf, Germany, but organizers were compelled to cancel the show entirely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Katona struck a golden opportunity earlier this year when he signed an exclusive multi-fight contract with BRAVE CF, offering him a chance to restore his meteoric rise in the sport.

“Superman” has gone 2-2 in his last four outings.

But prior to dropping two-straight bouts, he owned an immaculate 8-0 record with two submission wins and one by way of knockout.

Katona is expected to have his hands full against Nikolic, a Serbian prospect who has been undefeated since turning pro in 2016 and holds a perfect 8-0 standing as well as a 100 percent finishing rate.

If he prevails over a top-caliber opponent in Nikolic on a decisive note, Katona will most likely be one of the potential options to get a shot at the vacant BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Championship.
