Bahrain’s 3×3 Teams Take on Singapore Ahead of Asia Cup

Bahrain’s men’s and women’s national 3×3 basketball teams will play a friendly against hosts Singapore today as a final tune-up before the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup, scheduled from April 1–5.
The men’s team, coached by Murtadha Mohammed, includes Nasser Al Mousawi, Isa Jassim, Mohammed Ghazwan, Al Wathiq Ali, and Salman Al Kaabi. They are in Group D of the Asia Cup qualifiers, facing Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, and India.
The women’s team, also under coach Murtadha Mohammed with team administrator Ahmed Elias, features Bayan Salman, Shereen Abdulrahman, Noor Najaf, and Nouf Abdullah. Competing in Group C, they will face Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia in the opening stage.
Both teams aim to advance through the qualifiers with an eye on the pathway to the 2026 FIBA 3×3 World Cup in Warsaw.
