Bahrain is set to make history tonight as BRAVE CF 100 returns to Khalifa Sports City, with the Kingdom ready to crown its first-ever world champion. Excitement peaked yesterday as fighters faced off and hit the scales, giving fans a first look at the intensity to come. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with the first fight scheduled for 6:30 PM.

Bahrain’s Hamza Kooheji weighed 61.2kg for his Bantamweight World Championship bout against Serbia’s Borislav Nikolic, who weighed 61.0kg. The two locked eyes in a tense staredown, drawing loud cheers from the home crowd. Nikolic showed respect to Kooheji and the fans while making it clear he was focused on winning.

The co-main event, for the vacant Flyweight World Championship, also carried intensity. Muhammad Mokaev weighed 56.3kg, with Gerard Burns slightly heavier at 56.6kg. Speaking to The Daily Tribune, Burns said, “I’ve always wanted to fight Mukhaev. Now it’s scheduled, and I’m ready.” On the Irish-Dagestani rivalry, he added, “You can’t beat the Irish and the support they have worldwide. I’ll never be beaten, and the Irish will never be beaten.” Mokaev kept his response brief. “Talk doesn’t win fights. Tomorrow, I take the belt home.”

Meanwhile, drama simmered in the super welterweight division. Mohammad Fakhreddine missed weight, removing his fight against Alex Lohore from the triple-header. Lohore, who weighed 78.8kg, will still receive his fight purse. Meanwhile, Rami Hamed (79.4kg) and Rasul Magomedov (79.8kg) looked ready for war. Bahatebole Batebolati also missed weight at 81.6kg, showing how small margins can affect fight night.

The undercard also promised no shortage of action. Strawweights Mim Grubb (52.5kg) and Fabiola Nascimento (52.4kg) squared off in a tense staredown, while catchweight bouts included Aarti Khatri (52.9kg) versus Arofat Toirova (53.7kg) and Hussain Al Kurdi (72.9kg) versus Nour Jopa (73.0kg). Some confrontations, including Bahrain’s Mohamed Alsamea, required officials to step in, giving fans a sense of the charged atmosphere building ahead of fight night.

BRAVE CF President Mohamed Shahid told TDT, “BRAVE 100 is unpredictable and always delivers. From Kooheji vs. Nikolic for Bahrain to Mokaev vs. Burns, the first Irish-Dagestani clash in BRAVE CF, fans will witness history.” On Fakhreddine missing weight, he said, “It’s disappointing. Both fighters lost an opportunity, but that only fuels future rivalries. That’s the fight game.”

With weigh-ins complete and tension running high, the stage is set. Kooheji and Nikolic headline a night that could etch Bahrain into MMA history, while Mokaev and Burns battle for Flyweight gold. Supporting bouts featuring Rami Hamed, Rasul Magomedov, Mohamed Alsamea, and Hussain Al Kurdi promise fireworks throughout the card. BRAVE CF 101 follows on Sunday, but tonight BRAVE CF 100 takes over the spotlight tonight, putting Bahrain at the heart of the MMA world.
