FEI President hails Bahrain’s efforts

HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) received the President of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (Fédération Équestre Internationale, FEI) Ingmar De Vos and an accompanying delegation, in the presence of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, President of the Seventh Arabian Group in FEI and a number of BREEF Board of Directors members.

Shaikh Faisal appreciated the role of De Vos in developing equestrian sports across the world by strengthening cooperation between the intercontinental equestrian federations and the existing cooperation between BREEF and FEI.

Shaikh Faisal stressed that BREEF is constantly seeking to fulfil the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of the Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Honorary President of BREEF HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to improve equestrian and endurance sports in the kingdom of Bahrain.

De Vos also expressed his appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad for generously hosting him in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Shaikh Nasser for his endless efforts to enhance cooperation between BREEF and the FEI, resulting in implementing mutual programmes and also thanked Shaikh
Faisal. At the conclusion of the reception ceremony, Shaikh Faisal was presented a memento by De Vos for his contributions to equestrian sports
Bahrain.
