Bahrain’s senior men’s national team continued their preparations for the upcoming international friendlies with Georgia and Syria, resuming training yesterday at the Bahrain Football Association pitches in Riffa.
The session was held under the supervision of head coach Dragan Talajic and his technical staff, with a focus on ball work and tactical drills as the squad builds towards the final phase of their preparation programme.
Several players joined the camp after completing club duties, including Mahdi Abduljabbar, Mohammed Abdulqayoom, Ali Al Doseri, and goalkeeper Abdulla Alahmed, further strengthening the group ahead of the upcoming fixtures.
Bahrain will continue their preparations before travelling to Europe, where they are set to face Georgia on Friday in Tbilisi before taking on Syria next Tuesday in Antalya, Türkiye.
The friendlies form part of the team’s broader preparation plan for upcoming regional and continental competitions, including the Gulf Cup later this year and the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers.
