BFC launches new Smart Money App and Website

Bahrain Financing Company (BFC) has announced the launch of its new and improved BFC Smart Money App and Website. BFC is Bahrain`s first Money Transfer & Exchange company to introduce the Digital onboarding feature on its remittance App and website allowing customers to instantly complete the e-KYC process, without the need of visiting a branch.

The new app and website also have additional features enabling customers to add new beneficiaries instantly through an OTP authentication, bio-metric and facial recognition log-in, Automated Rate Alerts and Enhanced Security.

“This is just the beginning of BFC’s digital transformation, as we continue to strive forward in this digital age,” said BFC general manager Deepak Nair. Other functionalities of the new Smart Money app include OTP Log-in enhancing security for customers, ability to Set Rate Alert notifications to receive an email when the currency hits your preferred rate.

This is on top of the existing features which include a convenient currency converter, downloadable transaction history and Bill Payments with the improved user interface.

The new BFC App can be downloaded on the App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery. BFC has a retail network of 50 branches across the Kingdom of Bahrain, specializing in sending money worldwide safely and quickly to over 46,000 locations in 30 countries.
