Three Bahraini women nominated for International Entrepreneurial Challenge Award 2020

Three Bahraini women were nominated for the International Entrepreneurial Challenge Award 2020 by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The nominees are Batool Mohammed Dadabai, Khairiya Abdulla Dashti and Sabah Khalil Al Moayed, board member Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa said. Winners will be announced during a virtual conference held on November 9 and 10.

Shaikha Hind also revealed that Bahrain would host the conference of the International Entrepreneurial Challenge Award next year, calling it an invaluable opportunity to promote 
the business environment of 
Bahrain and highlight the key local business figures. The award, in its previous edition held in New Delhi, India, named Shaikha Hind and BCCI Finance, Insurance and Tax committee head  Sawsan Abulhasan as winners of the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC) Foundation’s Award.

Dadabhai Group director Batool Mohammed Dadabhai is a prominent businesswomen and a known personality in Bahrain, board member of many private and semi private organizations and committees in Bahrain. She studied at the Lahore University of Management Sciences and is a Business Management graduate from the University of Bahrain. She is also a co-director of Arabian Neon signage company, a board member of Bahrain Businesswomen Society and a member of the Businesswomen’s Committee at BCCI, vice president in Bahrain Corporate Social Responsibility Society and founder and owner of Affinity by Batool, a high-end multi designer store in the field of fashion design.

Khairiya Abdulla Dashti is the General Manager of Capital Trading and Industry and Executive Director of Al Frieh Dar Al Fonoon. She holds key positions at Kuwait Women Affair Committee, Arab Business Women Council, BPW International Bahrain, Naseem International Private School, Productive Families Development Committee - Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, BCCI and Bahrain Business Women’s Society.

Sabah Khalil Almoayyed is the Managing Partner at Intellect Resources Management Company and the Chairwoman of Flat6Labs Bahrain. She holds key posts at Bahrain Development Bank, National Bank of Bahrain, Higher Education Council and Investcorp Financial Services.
She previously worked at Eskan Bank Bahrain and Ahli United Bank.
Sabah Almoayyed holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and an MBA from Kelastat Business School, Finance and Management, University of DePaul, Chicago, USA. She has also completed an Executive Leadership Program at the University of Virginia, and an Advanced Management Program at Wharton Business School.
