ICAI Leaders Inspire Future Finance Professionals at BIS Workshop

 
 Bhavans Bahrain Indian School successfully organized an insightful Chartered Accountancy Guidance Session for students of Grades 9 to 12, offering valuable exposure to one of the most prestigious professions in commerce and finance.
 
The session was graced by C A Charanjot Singh Nanda, Immediate Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), who served as the resource person for the event. He was accompanied by CA Vinod Rathi, Chairperson-elect and present Vice Chairperson of the ICAI Bahrain Chapter, along with a team of Chartered Accountants and C A Exam Coordinators. The programme commenced with an introduction by CA Vinod Rathi, followed by inspiring addresses by C A Harpreet Singh and C A Prabhav Agarwalla, who highlighted the significant role of ICAI in shaping the accounting profession globally. They encouraged students to dream big, pursue their aspirations with determination, and believe that with hard work and perseverance, their dreams can become a reality.
 
Addressing the students, C A Nanda shared his professional journey and provided valuable insights into the Chartered Accountancy profession. He emphasized the importance of dedication, perseverance, ethical practices, and continuous learning while highlighting emerging opportunities in forensic accounting, auditing, taxation, financial consulting, risk management, and entrepreneurship.
 
The interactive session proved to be an eye-opener for aspiring commerce students. Through practical examples and real-life experiences, C A Nanda explained the academic pathway, challenges, and vast opportunities available to Chartered Accountants in India and abroad. Students actively engaged in the discussion, raising questions about the C A course, career prospects, and industry trends, all of which were addressed with clarity and enthusiasm.
 
Speaking on the occasion, School Director CA Himanshu Verma encouraged students to explore the diverse opportunities offered by the profession and to research the many career pathways available to qualified Chartered Accountants. Principal Mr. Saji Jacob expressed his gratitude to the ICAI Bahrain Chapter and the distinguished speakers for inspiring students through their guidance and expertise.
