Bilfinger inaugurates new Bahrain office in Riffa and celebrates 30 Years of Engineering Excellence

Bilfinger, a leading international industrial services provider, marked a milestone in the Kingdom of Bahrain with the inauguration of its new Consulting & Engineering office at MKF Central, Bukuwarah, in Riffa area and a celebration of 30 years of engineering excellence in the country.
The event brought together Bilfinger leadership, employees, and valued clients for a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a guided tour of the new state-of-the-art office facilities. Prominent and highly valued industry partners attended, highlighting the strong and long-lasting relationships Bilfinger has cultivated within Bahrain's top industrial companies.
A legacy of growth and partnership
Bilfinger started its journey in Bahrain in 1997 with just five employees and two founding clients whose early trust laid the solid foundation upon which the company built its reputation for engineering excellence. Over the past three decades, the operations have grown from a small engineering team to a major engineering hub in the Kingdom, of nearly 100 professionals, representing 10 nationalities, with around 26% of Bahraini nationals in the local workforce.
Today, the Bahrain Consulting & Engineering office is a proof of commitment, teamwork and continuous dedication, with a portfolio covering more than 750 projects for 96 clients, accumulating over 12 million safe manhours. The team comprises engineers, project managers, sales professionals, and corporate support functions including HR, finance, and procurement.
A significant chapter in Bilfinger's Bahrain history was the 2012 acquisition of former Tebodin, which accelerated the company's growth and broadened its client portfolio to include major names such as ARLA, BAPCO, Mondelez, and Kraft.
